Kabbalat Shabbat Service

Our services are filled with song, laughter, Torah readings and a sense of community for all. Everyone is welcome to our service on Friday for Shabbat Around the World with WUPJ this week. Those who attend our services often leave with a feeling of upliftment for Shabbos.

Lead by our Rabbi Julia Margolis and Cantors Tulla and Brian, the Beit Luria services are a fresh take on our beautiful religion and the Progressive Judaism Movement as a whole. Rabbi Julia’s forward-thinking and modern perspectives are filled with inspiration, joy and relatable week after week.

Although our services have no attendance fees, please remember that donations keep our shul going. If you find yourself able to make a donation, whether it’s R18, R180 or R18,000, any and all donations will be gratefully accepted and acknowledged, be it from you or in someone else’s name as a mitzvah.
