Kabbalat Shabbat Service
Our services are filled with song, laughter, Torah readings and a sense of community for all. Everyone is welcome to our services and those who attend often leave with a feeling of upliftment for the weekend ahead.
Services are led by our dynamic and fun Rabbi Julia Margolis, songs are led by our Cantors Tulla and Brian and are a fresh, inclusive and revered Judaism religion and the Progressive Judaism Movement. Rabbi Julia’s forward-thinking and modern and inclusive perspectives are filled with inspiration, joy and relatable week after week.
Newcomers, please reach out to us by filling in the form below in order to receive the attendance info for our online service. All our events are done via Zoom and will require a link, so please do touch base with us below if you are a newcomer and introduce yourself to our Operations Team.
Our services have no attendance fees, please remember that donations keep our shul going. Membership fees do not, unfortunately, cover the entire operational costs of running a synagogue, even when online. If you find yourself in a position to make a donation, whether it’s R18, R180 or R1800, any and all donations will be gratefully accepted and acknowledged, be it from you, or in someone else’s name as a mitzvah. To make donations as easy as possible, we have several donation options available. We thank you gratefully in advance.
