Kabbalat Shabbat Service 8 April 2022
Our services are interactive, filled with song, laughter, Torah readings and a sense of community for all. Everyone is welcome to our service on Fridays. Those who attend our services often leave with a feeling of upliftment for Shabbos.
Led by our Rabbi Julia Margolis and Cantors Tulla and Brian, the Beit Luria services are a fresh take on our beautiful religion and the Progressive Judaism Movement as a whole. Rabbi Julia’s forward-thinking and modern perspectives are filled with inspiration, joy and relatable week after week.

This week’s service will be held on Zoom and the link will be shared on our community WhatsApp groups. If you’re a new visitor, simply email us below to register your attendance and introduce yourself. Service begins at 6 pm South African Standard Time. For the first time online attendance (i.e. newcomers), please RSVP below to reserve your spot.

Our shul, while operating online and through hybrid services, still has overheads to cover.
Some of these overheads are covered by membership fees of our congregation, but we rely on donations and generosity of those who participate in our community and online services to cover the balance. If you are in a position to do so, please consider donating back to our synagogue as generously but as much as is within your means as possible. We thank those regular donors and are forever grateful, no matter the size.
